Not all splitboard skins are created equal. Some glide well, but are slippery on the steeps. Others are like velcro - great for climbing, terrible for touring. Jones Nomad Climbing Skins eliminate this issue as these 70% Mohair / 30% Synthetic Nylon skins offer the perfect balance of glide and grip. The premium natural mohair fibers deliver unmatched glide in any snow condition because they remain soft and flexible at any temperature. The nylon fibers provide extra traction when the skin track gets steep or icy. Skin fibers are also coated with EVER DRY Anti-glopping treatment to improve performance in wet snow and keep your skins dry lap after lap. Nomad skins are available in two models: Trim-To-Fit with Universal Tail Clip and Pre-Cut with Quick Tension Tail Clip.

As a general rule, orders will be dispatched from our Queenstown store, on the next business day after payment is received. Sometimes, we might achieve same day dispatch, however this is not guaranteed. All orders are freighted via standard security freight, utilising several different Third Party couriers, depending on product ordered and delivery address. Dispatch will usually take 1-3 business days from leaving our store. Freight for items/destinations outside of normal regions, should be negotiated prior to dispatch.
Click and Collect - With online purchases, the customer has an option to personally collect from our NZSHRED store at 19 Shotover Street, Queenstown. These purchases are freight & handling free-of-charge.
